The Evansville Vanderburgh Library is asking for recipes to create a community cook book

The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library wants to see your recipes. WNIN’s John Gibson explains:

The EVPL is inviting the community to submit recipes for “The Library Table: A Community Cookbook.”

The goal is to preserve favorite recipes for future generations.

EVPL Director of Programming and Outreach Erika Qualls says she’s seen a growing interest in the culinary arts among library users.

Qualls says some of the EVPL’s most attended programs are related to cooking, gardening, and food culture.

You can submit recipes at all EVPL locations and online at evpl.org/library table

They’ll be accepted through June 30th.

The cookbook is expected to be published next October.
