A second data center is being considered in Warrick County. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
County officials met last week with a development group about a proposal called "Project Alloy."
The county says the group wants to develop about 700 acres of land owned by Alcoa.
In a release, officials say the development team maintained there would be no adverse effects on existing Alcoa or Kaiser Aluminum properties.
The project is said to be in the "due diligence" stage and no official action has been taken.
It’s the second potential data center project in Warrick County.
Officials met last summer with a group representing Project Zora.
That developer is believed to be considering a site near Lynnville.
