Evansville Animal Care and Control says it desperately needs fosters and adopters. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Officials say the shelter at 815 Ulhorn Street took in 23 dogs yesterday on Wednesday on top of an already crowded shelter.
They say the shelter has reached a critical point and all available dogs and cats are just five dollars to adopt, thanks to support from Tailgate Revival.

Officials say the five-dollar fee includes spay and neuter, microchip, and vaccinations.
If you can’t adopt, the shelter asks that you consider fostering.
Officials say even temporarily getting a dog out of the shelter can free up desperately needed kennel space.
Animal Care and Control is open 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday through Saturday.
