Two people were injured in house fire near Downtown Evansville last (Sun) night. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Firefighters were dispatched to the multi-story home in the 1400 block of SE Second Street just before 7 p.m.
When they arrived, they found flames coming from the first and second floors.
Officials say everyone was able to escape the burning house, including pets.
Two people suffered injuries, and a total of three people were displaced.
Evansville firefighters extinguished the flames in about 40 minutes and kept the fire from spreading to neighboring homes.
Authorities say the fire was accidental.
