Vault On Main Grand Opening Next Week

A ribbon will be cut for the $60 million Vault on Main project in Downtown Evansville Oct. 2

A major project in Downtown Evansville is nearing the finish line. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Key stakeholders will celebrate the grand opening of The Vault on Main next Friday, October 2^nd.

The new 60-million dollar complex is a 161-unit residential and nearly 48-hundred square foot commercial development at 424 Main Street.

That’s the former site of what was the city’s tallest building.

The 18-story former Old National Bank headquarters was imploded in 2021.

Officials broke ground for the new four-story development in 2024.

Apartments are already being rented in the new complex and work continues on a new green space at 4^th and Main.
