At least one student is injured after a school bus crash in Gibson County Tuesday morning. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
It happened just before 8 a.m. on State Road 168, east of Owensville.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says a full-sized pickup truck collided with a South Gibson school bus.
Investigators say the driver of the pickup ran a stop sign at County Road 500- West and hit the bus.
Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says most students were fine and were transported to Gibson Southern High School.
But he says “at least one student” was taken to an area hospital for further evaluation of a “minor injury.”
There was no word on charges against the pickup driver.
