The University of Evansville is expanding its partnerships with area high schools, signing nine dual-credit agreements. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
The agreements with UE include Central High School, Mater Dei, Memorial, Evansville Christian School, Castle High School, Warrick Pathways, Indiana Digital Learning School, Northeast Dubois High School, and Southridge.
UE says the agreements vary considerably, ranging from a single course to as many as 22 courses.
Depending on the partnership, students can earn UE credit for courses taught at their high school, enroll directly in UE courses, or participate in both opportunities.
UE notes some of the partnerships build on relationships that have been in place for years.
The University expects to announce more dual-credit agreements with area schools in the near future.
