Evansville Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash on the Lloyd Expressway. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
First responders were dispatched to the Lloyd and Crosspoint Blvd. just before 11:00 Thursday morning.
They found a crash in the eastbound lanes involving a charter bus and three other vehicles.
Initial reports indicated at least three people were injured, with two of them needing extrication from the wreckage.
There was no word on the seriousness of injuries.
A firefighter on the scene described some of the involved vehicles as “almost unrecognizable” and declared the crash a “critical incident.”
It happened in a Lloyd4U construction zone and forced authorities to block traffic for an extended time.
