Drivers can expect “rolling shortages” along the West Lloyd starting this week. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
INDOT says crews will briefly pause traffic for paving operations on the Lloyd Expressway ten-to-15 minutes at a time, starting at Posey County Line Road.
Work will then move east from intersection to intersection, eventually ending at Rosenberger Road.
INDOT says only one intersection will be affected at a time.
The work is scheduled to include the McDowell Road intersection and the University Parkway ramps by the end of Wednesday.
The entire paving is expected to be completed over the course of several weeks, weather permitting.
Flaggers will be used to direct traffic and drivers should follow their directions, not traffic signals.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, stay alert, and allow extra travel time when traveling through the Lloyd4U project areas.
INDOT says your patience keeps everyone safe.
