A Notre Dame professor will make a presentation at the Evansville Museum Tuesday evening (July 21, 2026) as part of the EVPL’s SPEAK series. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:
As the U.S. observes its 250th anniversary, Professor Patrick Griffin will present “The Revolutionary War in Three Paintings.”
The free presentation begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Museum on Riverside Drive.
Dr. Griffin is the author of five books, including The Age of Atlantic Revolution: The Fall and Rise of a Connected World, America’s Revolution, and American Leviathan: Empire, Nation, and Revolutionary Frontier.
His work explores the intersection of colonial America and early modern Irish and British history.
Following Griffin’s formal presentation, he will take questions and sign copies of his books.
