The group Indivisible Evansville delivered posters to the local office of U.S. Representative Mark Messmer on Thursday. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Group President Wendy Bredhold called Messmer’s office in front of the Fifth Third Bank building.

A short time later in the lobby, representatives from Messmer’s office met Bredhold and about 15 group members:

The posters featured hand-written questions and concerns by residents who attended a town hall in Evansville last month.
Messmer was invited but didn’t attend.
Bredhold says it’s frustrating:
"I believe that putting pressure on decision makers is effective. And so we have been trying honestly to pressure him to meet with constituents and hold a town hall, and answer questions. I think his inaccessibility is really outrageous."
WNIN has reached out to Representative Messmer’s office to see when the posters might reach him.
