An Evansville library is getting ready to celebrate a renovation. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Officials say the upgrades at EVPL Oaklyn are nearly complete after almost a year of work.
The EVPL says the community is invited to see the updates at the library off Oak Hill Road this Friday from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.
The event will feature activities throughout the building, including a scavenger hunt in the new and renovated spaces, creative projects, robot programming and play, and oversized games.
Refreshments will also be available.
After the event, Darabello will perform from 6-to-7 p.m. as part of EVPL’s Concerts on the Lawn series.
EVPL Oaklyn moved from its previous location at Oak Hill and Lynch roads into the current facility in 2003.
