Evansville firefighters battled an early morning blaze at an East Side storage facility. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
The blaze was reported just before 6:00 Tuesday morning at Lighthouse Storage in the 4400 block of Green River Road, just north of Lynch Road.
The first crew to arrive reported a “working fire.”
At least one crew hooked up to a hydrant and firefighters opened the roof as they battled the flames.
There was no word of injuries.
Officers detoured traffic in the area.
The fire is under investigation.
