The town of Haubstadt is gearing up for its annual summer fest. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:
Event organizers are inviting you to what they call the "Busch Light Capital of the World.”
The annual Haubstadt Sommerfest begins Thursday evening and continues through Saturday.
The festival includes a community parade, food booths, the Laufenfest 5K walk and run, live music, amusement rides, and what organizers claim is southern Indiana’s finest bierstube,
The event kicks off Thursday evening at 5:00, with the bierstube opening at 7 p.m.
The bierstube ends at midnight each night.
Summer officially arrives after the festival -- early Sunday morning.
