The YWCA of Evansville says CEO Erika Taylor is moving on to the national YWCA

The head of the YWCA in Evansville has accepted a job at the national level. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The YWCA Evansville Board of Directors has announced that Chief Executive Officer Erika Taylor has accepted the position of Vice President of Member Services with YWCA USA.

That’s the national organization that serves a network of more than 180 groups across the country.

The agency says Taylor will assume her new role after a transition at the local YWCA.

The chair of local Board of Directors, Toni Hamilton, says Taylor’s selection for the national leadership role is a testament to the vision, dedication, and impact she has demonstrated throughout her more than 15 years of leadership.

Taylor says serving as CEO of YWCA Evansville has been one of the greatest honors of her life and the decision to accept the national position was “not easy.”

But Taylor says she’s excited for the opportunity to support YWCA associations across the country and continue advancing a mission that she cares “so deeply about.”
