A firefighter suffered minor injuries during a blaze at Bobcat of Evansville (IN)

A firefighter was injured during a blaze on Evansville’s North Side. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The EFD responded to the fire at Bobcat of Evansville in the 2900 block of Lynch Road just after 6:30 Monday night.

The department says a mayday was declared during the incident, when a firefighter suffered minor injuries.

That firefighter was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The EFD says the building was unoccupied and closed for business at the time.

Crews quickly extinguished the blaze.

An investigation indicates the fire was electrical and accidental.
