A forum is set for next week in Evansville about the impact of property tax changes. WNIN’S John Gibson has a preview:
The League of Women Voters calls the town hall "The High Cost of (Slightly) Lower Property Taxes."
Leaders who are expected to take part include Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry, City Council President Ben Trockman, Vanderburgh Council Councilor John Montrastelle, Sheriff Noah Robinson, and City Controller Robert Gunter.
Clint Lamb of Accelerate Indiana Municipalities will also attend and discuss the impact of recent Indiana property tax cuts on the community.
The 90-minute event starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Browning Room of EVPL’s Central Library.
