Coleman says she’s spent the last two years meeting with Kentuckians, asking them what they are looking for in their next governor.
She says it’s crystal clear: they want someone who will show up, listen and focus on the issues that truly matter to Kentucky families.
Coleman is the first candidate from either major party to announce a 2027 run.
Incumbent Gov. Andy Beshear is not eligible to run for a third consecutive term.
He is seen as a potential presidential candidate in 2028.
