Drivers in Owensboro can expect railroad crossings to be closed the next two weeks. WNIN's John Gibson has details:
CSX says it’s doing maintenance work along the railroad line that runs through Owensboro, including the removal and replacement of track.
The work will impact 32 railroad crossings through the city -- including several major thoroughfares – but not all at once.
CSX says temporary closures will occur as crews work from crossing to crossing.
Some of Owensboro’s most traveled roadways are expected to be affected next week, including Frederica St., J.R. Miller Blvd., and Triplett St.
CSX encourages drivers to plan alternate routes.
The work is expected to wrap up at the end of next week.
