The city of Evansville is accepting applications for the third and final round of Forward Together grants

Mayor Stephanie Terry says her administration is accepting applications for the third and final cycle of Forward Together grants. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Mayor Terry says a half-million dollars in grants will be awarded to nonprofit partners for “one-time high-impact projects” that align with key city priorities, like neighborhood revitalization, literacy, and youth wellness.

The funding was made possible through interest earned on federal American Rescue Plan money.

A million dollars has been distributed locally since 2024.

Terry says the Forward Together grant program is designed to provide organizations with funding that “addresses community needs and enhances quality of life across the city.”

Eligible non-profits can apply through Friday, May 1st.
