Those are the voices of Singing Resistance Evansville at First Presbyterian Church Friday night.
Amber Knight is one of the local organizers:
"It originated when the war in Ukraine started and then sort of developed from there. And in Minneapolis — with everything that was going on there — really took hold."

Knight says the local group started in February, has been practicing at First Pres. and continues to grow:
"You can follow us on Facebook or Instagram. We are Singing Resistance Evansville. You can also email us at singingresistanceevv@gmail.com And we are welcoming anyone and everyone that wants to join."
After Friday’s performance, the group led singing at the “No Kings 3” rally on Evansville’s riverfront Saturday afternoon.
