Pedestrian Hit on W. Franklin St.

Evansville Police say a person was seriously hurt when a vehicle hit a pedestrian outside a busy nightspot W. Franklin St.

A vehicle hit a pedestrian on W. Franklin St. Saturday night, seriously injuring the pedestrian. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

It happened at about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of W. Franklin, near Six Strings.

Evansville Police Sgt. Anthony Aussieker said one person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

There’s no word on the pedestrian’s name.

There’s also no word of any charges.

An investigation continues.
