If you need help finding your way around Evansville Regional Airport, there’s an app for that. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
EVV has introduced GoodMaps, an indoor navigation technology that helps travelers move through the terminal with what officials call “greater independence and confidence.”
The technology provides step-by-step guidance throughout the terminal using a mobile device.
EVV says it’s especially helpful for travelers who are blind or visually impaired, while also offering support for anyone who may want additional assistance navigating the airport.
EVV Executive Director Nate Hahn says the airport is committed to “providing an accessible travel experience for everyone.”
GoodMaps uses indoor mapping technology and smartphone or tablet guidance to help travelers navigate indoor environments.
EVV says the app provides precise directions and audio guidance, helping users find ticket counters, security checkpoints, gates, and amenities.
