Women's "Herstory" Panel to Speak Saturday

Angel Mounds

A panel discussion Saturday at Angel Mounds will discuss "Breaking the Glass Ceiling"

Angel Mounds is hosting a Women’s History Month event on Saturday. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:

It’s called a "Women’s Herstory Celebration: Breaking the Glass Ceiling.”

It will feature a distinguished guest panel, including Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry, Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Diana Moers and EVSC Superintendent Darla Hoover.

Organizers say the event will explore stories of resilience and barriers – and how barriers can be addressed.

The 90-minute event starts at 1 p.m. Saturday at Angel Mounds State Historic Site off Pollack Avenue.
