Red Bank Library’s temporary location is now open on Evansville’s West Side. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library says the temporary space is inside the former Liberty Federal Credit Union branch, next door to the existing Red Bank building.

The space will offer library services and resources until the new EVPL Red Bank opens.
The library closed in December and staff members have been moving materials into the temporary space.

It will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9-to-6 on Fridays, and 9-to-5 on Saturdays.

Plans calls for demolishing the former library and building a larger facility.
Officials are expected to seek bids for the project this spring.
