The University of Evansville is citing “unprecedented generosity” as its FORWARD campaign tops its goal of 125-million dollars. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
UE says the fundraising campaign raised about 130-million.
The university says more than 15,000 alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations supported more than 500 initiatives throughout the campaign.
UE President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz calls it “a powerful expression of belief in our students and in the role the University of Evansville plays in this region and beyond.”
The seven-year campaign began with a leadership phase in 2019 and was launched publicly in 2022.
Pietruszkiewicz says it will “open doors, create opportunity, and ensure our students have what they need to lead, serve, and make an impact."
