The Ohio Township Fire Department rescued a driver whose SUV ran into a small pond in Warrick County, IN

Firefighters rescued a driver after their SUV ran off the road and into an icy pond. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Ohio Township Fire Department was dispatched to the scene near Oak Grove Road and White Chapel Drive shortly before Midnight Saturday.

The department says firefighters entered the small body of water and removed the driver from the vehicle.

EMS evaluated the driver on scene and it’s wasn’t clear if they were taken to a hospital.

Ohio Township crews and Tri-State Towing and Recovery got the SUV out of the water.

The Warrick County Sheriff's Office and Boonville Fire Department assisted.
