If you live in Evansville, your trash won’t be picked up until next week. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
Due to the winter weather, Republic Services has suspended all city waste and recycling collection through the weekend.
The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility says regular collection will resume on Monday.
The utility says next week, Republic Services will collect household carts and any extra bagged trash and recycling placed next to the carts.
Officials say safety is the top priority for residents, their property, and collection crews.
The utility says it appreciates residents’ patience and understanding.
