The University of Evansville is touting a re-accreditation. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
UE says it has received a “formal reaffirmation of accreditation” from the Higher Learning Commission.
It extends the accreditation through the 2035–36 academic year.
The university says the accreditation means UE will continue on the commission’s Open Pathway and will complete a mid-cycle quality initiative focused on student success.
UE President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz calls it a “significant milestone.”
He says the commission review is comprehensive, and the work completed across every area of the university demonstrated the strength of academic programs, operations, and community.
Pietruszkiewicz also added a special note of appreciation to the HLC Steering Committee.
The University of Southern Indiana is also accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
