If you’re curious about the impact of lower property taxes, you may want to mark January 29th on your calendar. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
That’s when the League of Women Voters will host an event called The High Cost of (Slightly) Lower Property Taxes.
Evansville and Vanderburgh County officials will discuss recent legislation passed by the Indiana General Assembly and how it will affect the community.
The league says presenters and panelists will include Mayor Stephanie Terry, Evansville City Council President Ben Trockman, and Vanderburgh County Council President John Montrastelle.
The event is set for Wednesday, January 29th at 6 p.m. in the Browning Room at Evansville’s Central Library.
The NAACP Evansville and Indivisible Evansville are co-sponsoring the session.
