A light mix of rain and snow is possible Wednesday morning and as WNIN’s John Gibson reports, forecasters are tracking a potential winter storm for this weekend:
The National Weather Service is predicting accumulating snow in the region as soon as Friday night.
As this point, western Kentucky looks more likely to receive higher amounts than Evansville.
But forecasters warn that it’s too soon for “exact details.”
The weather service does say slippery travel and winter weather are becoming “more likely.”
Kentucky transportation crews began pre-treating roadways in the commonwealth Tuesday.
More artic air is forecast to move into the Evansville area on Friday.
