The New Year brings a new lane shift on the West Lloyd Expressway. WNIN’s John Gibson has the latest:
INDOT says the westbound bridges over Tekoppel Avenue, the nearby railroad, and Carpenter Creek are complete.
So starting this week, crews will shift all traffic from what are normally the eastbound lanes to the westbound lanes so construction can begin on the south side of the Lloyd.
Eastbound and westbound traffic will share the north side of the Lloyd, while the south will be closed for the rest of the Lloyd4U work on Evansville’s West Side.
The switch directly impacts the Lloyd intersections at Rosenberger and Red Bank.
