Three standout students have received Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships in Vanderburgh County. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Vanderburgh Community Foundation says the 2026 recipients are Norah Ahmed of Evansville Day School, Kris Lau of Signature School, and Maggie Raben of Memorial High School.
The three -- and all Lilly Endowment Scholars -- are recognized for their community involvement, academic achievement, character, and leadership.
Each Lilly scholarship provides full tuition, required fees, and up to 900-dollars per year for required books and equipment for four years of full-time undergraduate study leading to a baccalaureate degree.
Scholars also join the Lilly Scholars Network, which connects them with resources and opportunities to lead on campus and in their communities.
Lilly Endowment has supported the program with tuition grants totaling more than 505-million dollars, benefiting more than 5400 Indiana students.
