Drivers can expect a change on the East Lloyd Expressway starting this week. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
INDOT says Lloyd4U construction is moving to Phase 2 on the East Lloyd.
The agency says westbound traffic will shifted to the two outside lanes -- a configuration that’s expected to be in place for at least six months.
INDOT says the switch will allow construction to shift to a new portion of the project.
The agency says drivers can expect added delays during the first few days as drivers adjust to the new pattern.
The eastbound lanes of the Lloyd near the Burkhardt and Cross Pointe intersections will switch to Phase 2 sometime after the first of the year.
INDOT says the project remains on schedule with completion anticipated in late 2026.
