Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry helps cut a ribbon celebrating upgrades to cMoe

Mayor Stephanie Taylor helped celebrate upgrades to the Children's Museum of Evansville

cMoe is celebrating upgrades at its downtown facility. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Children's Museum of Evansville has cut a ribbon on improvements to the lobby, the Quack Factory, museum branding, and a new cMoe to Go mobile museum.

Mayor Stephanie Terry joined yesterday’s (Tues) celebration at the facility that she led before being elected mayor.

Terry says the completion of the first phase of improvements at cMoe was accomplished through the Play It Forward Campaign, which raised five-million of the six-point-five million dollar goal.

Terry says the ribbon cutting warmed her heart.

She noted a children’s museum sees more wear and tear in one year than most buildings see in ten.

Terry describes the exhibits at cMoe as classrooms, laboratories, performance stages, and playgrounds all in one.
