The Evansville Regional Economic Partnership and UE will host Alberto Musalem, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

The head of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis will visit Evansville next week. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Alberto Musalem is the keynote speaker of the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership’s Economic Impact and Policy Forum, set for Thursday at the University of Evansville.

Musalem will talk about monetary policy, recent economic trends, and his outlook for the U.S. economy.

As President and CEO of the Fed in St. Louis, he participates on the Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee, which meets at least eight times a year -- and among other things – sets interest rates.

Musalem also oversees the activities of the Eighth Federal Reserve District at its St. Louis headquarters and branches in Louisville, Little Rock, and Memphis.
