As the winter heating season approaches, CenterPoint Energy says it will host five “Community Connect” events in southwestern Indiana. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:
CenterPoint says its customer support team and other local organizations will be on-hand to provide information on financial assistance programs, energy efficiency resources, and other tools and tips to help customers reduce energy costs.
In the immediate Evansville area, sessions are set for Nov. 8th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Vanderburgh 4H Fairgrounds and on Nov. 13th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the C.K. Newsome Center.
Other sessions are set for Thursday (Nov. 6th) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at South Spencer High School, on Nov. 12th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mount Vernon Junior High School, and Nov. 15th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Ohio Township Phoenix Event Center in Newburgh.
CenterPoint says customers can also learn about local infrastructure investments, the importance of emergency preparedness, and to better understand programs they may qualify for.
