City of Evansville Collecting Leaves

File

The of Evansville has launched its fall leaf collection program; heavy trash suspended

The city of Evansville starts collecting leaves this week. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

If you pay for trash and recycling through your water and sewer bill, Republic Services will pick up properly bagged leaves on your usual trash pickup day.

The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility asks that you put the leaves in biodegradable plastic or paper leaf bags, or in containers.

They should be placed neatly by your trash cart.

Apartment complexes, mobile home communities, business and commercial customers, and utility customers who live outside the city are not eligible for the pickup.

It runs through December 12th.

The city of Evansville is pausing its heavy trash pickup during the leaf collection.
