UE Celebrates Jump in Enrollment

The University of Evansville says its overall enrollment is up 10%; freshmen enrollment jumped 19%

The University of Evansville is celebrating what it says is double-digit enrollment growth. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

UE says total enrollment increased by 10 percent this fall, fueled by a 7 percent increase in the overall undergraduate population and a 6 percent gain in graduate students.

The university also says the incoming freshman class grew by an “astounding 19 percent.”

Meanwhile, UE says enrollment more than doubled at Harlaxton College, its campus in Grantham, England.

UE President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz calls it an “exciting moment.”

He says the university is bucking national and regional trends thanks to significant investments in new facilities, innovative programs, and a commitment to make UE “affordable and accessible to students from all backgrounds."
