Holiday World Director of Entertainment and Events Lauren Crosby, is embracing new ideas this fall — namely dinosaurs and drones that shoot off fireworks as part of the nighttime display.

Holiday World Director of Entertainment and Events Lauren Crosby basically said, “why not” to the idea of hiding more than twenty dinosaurs around their annual corn-maze.

“So we reached out to a company and said, ‘Have you ever put these in a corn maze before?’ And their answer was, ‘No, we have not, but we'd love to.’ So here we are.”

Crosby said for 2025, they wanted their guests to have the challenge of finding the dinosaurs while also finding their way out. A helpful dino guide is provided with a map of the corn maze and where the dinosaurs can be found.

“And a list of the dinosaurs, the different species, and fun facts about the species,” Crosby said. “Your education level of dinosaurs can be anywhere. We're going to meet you where you are.”

Also new for 2025 are on-board pyrotechnics for their evening drone shows which are also part of Halloween Weekends.
