Free Paper Shredding offered Friday Morning

Vanderburgh County Solid Waste Management

The Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District is offering free document shredding for local residents at Evansville's Wesselman Woods

You have an opportunity to get documents shredded for free. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Vanderburgh County Paper Shredding Day is set for Friday from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Wesselman Woods Shelter House #1, off Boeke Road.

The Solid Waste District says households can drop off up to 100 pounds of confidential or sensitive documents and they’ll be shredded free of charge by Piranha Mobile Shredding.

Officials say the shredding will take place offsite.

The event is for Vanderburgh County households only.

The district says no businesses, please.
