As summer-like weather continues in the Tri-State, officials are warning of possible ozone pollution. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has issued an Air Quality Action Day for all of southern Indiana tomorrow (Tues).
Officials say ground level ozone is expected to reach levels that are unhealthy for sensitive groups, like children, the elderly, and anyone with heart or lung issues.
IDEM says continued unseasonably warm temperatures combined with low humidity, sunny skies, and light wildfire smoke is expected to contribute to elevated ozone levels.

The National Weather Service predicts temperatures to continue to top 90 degrees until the weekend, when rain chances increase.
