A vehicle driving the wrong way on Indiana 66 in Warrick County collided with another, killing both drivers

Two people are dead after a head-on crash in Warrick County early Wednesday morning. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

It happened shortly before 5 a.m. on Highway 66 at Epworth Road.

Authorities say a driver headed the wrong way on 66 collided with an eastbound car.

The drivers of both vehicles were killed.

There’s no word yet on their names.

The crash and investigation forced police to shut down the highway for at least two hours.

An accident reconstruction team was called to the scene.

Conditions were foggy at the time of the crash.
