City Sets Final 2025 Neighborhood Cleanups

City of Evansville

Two more Block by Block cleanups are scheduled in Evansville this fall

You have two more opportunities to help clean up Evansville neighborhoods this year. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Mayor Stephanie Terry says the final Block-by-Block Neighborhood Cleanup events of 2025 will be held on September 12th and October 24th.

The September 12th cleanup is from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Stringtown Neighborhood, in partnership with the United Way Day of Caring.

The October 24th event -- also from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. – will focus on the Howell Neighborhood.

Mayor Terry says each event brings together city workers, volunteers, and neighborhood residents to fill potholes, re-stripe streets, mow lawns, trim trees, and pick up litter.

Residents interested in volunteering at the September event can sign up here.

Those interested in volunteering for the October event in Howell can sign up here.
