Area residents are invited to an event called “Know Your Neighbors: Immigration 101.” WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:
The event Thursday evening is organized by the group BRIDGE.
It will feature an open conversation about how immigration works in the U.S. and tackle what recent changes mean for people living in the community.
The group says it will also break down “myths and misinformation.”
BRIDGE says attendees will hear real stories with the hope of building a more informed community.
The Know Your Neighbors event is set for 6 p.m. Thursday in the Browning Room of Evansville‘s Central Library.
