An Evansville-based law firm is celebrating a new location. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Woods & Woods recently moved its offices from the Old Vanderburgh County Jail to the former Calvary Baptist Church at Haynie’s Corner.
The facility was most recently known as the Center of Hope Church.
Woods & Woods will celebrate its nine-point-five million dollar renovation and the law firm’s 40th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting Saturday, August 2nd, at 5:30 p.m.
A celebration will follow until 10 p.m.
The renovation included the former church, the attached 3-story school building, and the parking lot.
The church sanctuary is now the center of the firm’s case management department.
Woods & Woods provides legal assistance exclusively for veterans.
