The U.S. Postal Service will hold job fairs across Indiana on July 25 looking for rural carriers

If you’re interested in delivering the mail, you may want to circle July 25th on your calendar. WNIN’s John Gibson explains:

That’s when the United States Postal Service will conduct statewide job fairs, in an effort to hire more rural mail deliverers.

A job fair in Indianapolis is scheduled for the next day.

Job fairs in southwest Indiana include the post offices in Mt. Vernon, Poseyville, Oakland City, and Jasper on Friday, July 25th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Postal Service personnel will be at the offices to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions.

Some of the positions pay more than 20-dollars an hour.

Applications are accepted online only here .
