Anyone who attended Evansville's Central High School in the 1990's is invited to next week's reunion

A high school reunion is in the works for people who attended Evansville’s Central High School anytime during the 1990’s. WNIN’S John Gibson has the story:

Most reunions recognize a single class but the Central High School “All 90s Reunion” is a four-day celebration of all ten graduating classes from the 1990s – plus former students, faculty, staff, and friends from the late 80s and early 2000s.

Jeff Memmer is coordinating the event. He says people are coming from all over:

"Flying in from California, from Texas, Colorado, coming up from Florida, from Virginia and of course, in the regional area from Louisville, St Louis, Indy and stuff."

Plans for the four-day reunion include a night at Farm 57, an open house at Central High School, and the main event Saturday, July 19th on the grounds of EVPL West and at VFW Post 1114.

Memmer says the response has been great:

"Especially as we get older and face the headwinds of getting older, it's important to re-connect with people and build those support networks as you go through life, because a lot of people are experiencing the same things at the same time, typically. People are looking forward to that element of seeing people in person."

Students and staff of Central High School in the 1990’s can still register for the event, which starts next Wednesday, July 16th.
