Newburgh, Indiana's fireworks display will cap a day of activities on July 5th

The Town of Newburgh’s fireworks display is set for the day after the Fourth of July. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:

Fireworks over the Burgh is set for Saturday night after sunset on the Newburgh Riverfront.

The free display will cap a day of music, food, and kids activities in the Warrick County town.

The Historic Newburgh Strawberry Social runs from noon to 5 PM at the Old Lock and Dam.

It will include a cake walk, homemade strawberry shortcakes for sale, and a gift card and gift basket raffle.

The Newburgh Music Festival starts at 2:00 p.m. Saturday with various musicians and the band Happy New Month performing in the Newburgh Amphitheater at 6:30 p.m.
