Firefighters from two states are training on the Ohio River. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Crews from the Henderson Fire Department and the Ohio Township Fire Department met at the 2nd Street boat ramp in Henderson on Thursday for dive training.
The HFD says the joint training improves teamwork and efficiency.
The two departments, like many in the Tri-State, provide mutual aid when fire and rescue resources are spread thin.

The Ohio Township department provides fire protection for much of Warrick County.
The Henderson Fire Department works out of four stations in Henderson.
Officials broke ground in May to replace the city‘s Fire Station No. 1.
